First Presbyterian Preschool

First Presbyterian Preschool, established in 1987, is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Morehead City. For more than three decades, our preschool has been nurturing the hearts and minds of young children and serving both church families and the wider community from September through May.

Who We Are

Our program is guided by the First Presbyterian Preschool Committee, which serves as a subcommittee of the Christian Education Committee of the Church Session. Together, we are committed to making your child’s experience at First Presbyterian Preschool a joyful, safe, and enriching one.

Mission Statement

At First Presbyterian Preschool, our mission is to nurture the whole child by providing a Christ-centered foundation for spiritual, academic, emotional, social, and physical growth. We seek to create a safe and loving environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop their God-given gifts. Through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships, we strive to prepare each child for future success while instilling values of kindness, curiosity, and faith.
