The prayer shawl ministry currently meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Youth Room.  Several of the members have lunch at noon before the meeting.  During the gatherings we knit, crochet, and teach the beginners who join us.  Just meeting with one another for fun and fellowship is the best part of all!  Even if  you are not able to meet with us, you may complete a shawl on your own and bring it to church upon completion.  Please contact me, Janet Furman, jfurman@ec.rr.com upon completion of a shawl and I will assist you with the next step in getting the shawl blessed and ready for presentation.

Perhaps you know of someone who would benefit from receiving a prayer shawl?  Please give the office a call.  People have also inquired on how they can help our ministry, even if they don't knit or crochet.  Here's how .....  You may donate materials such as:  yarn,  needles for knitting or crocheting, or coupons for materials.  You may also sponsor a shawl by making a donation to the ministry.  Money that is donated goes toward materials for creating the prayer shawls.  All of your support is appreciated very much and assists in the success of our prayer shawl ministry.  Thank You!
